It's still just a vision and yet already worthy of an award: Hesse's Minister of Economics Tarek Al-Wazir presented the “BAULAB” at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with the 20,000 euro Future Prize of the Großer Frankfurter Bogen 2022 at the launch on July 20. To kick things off, lecturers and students from the h_da's Department of Architecture played in the area around the Starkenburg barracks in the Waldkolonie. This is where the “BAULAB”, a real laboratory for sustainable urban development, will one day be located.
