The team from the Innovation and Transformation Platform for Sustainable Development (itp:ne) led by Prof. Martin Führ and Dr. Silke Kleihauer joined forces with the City of Darmstadt's Office for Climate Protection and Adaptation to host a neighborhood discussion: Under the heading “Heat transition in the Johannesviertel”, the focus was on the question “How can we heat here in the neighborhood in a climate-friendly and affordable way?” This question was not only explored in the most recent citizens' panel survey, it is obviously also on the minds of many people in the Johannesviertel, as the large turnout showed - instead of the expected 40 people, 120 guests attended.
